Enzo Ferrari was born in Modena, Italy. He wanted to incorporate something personal into the logo, and chose the yellow from the provincial flag of Modena as the background of the iconic Ferrari logo.

The Enzo Ferrari museum opened in 2012 in Ferrari's hometown, Modena. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of Enzo. The museum is a combination of two different buildings, the former house and workshop that belonged to Enzo Ferrari's father and a new, futuristic, car-resembling building build by Future Systems.
